for everyone
Category:Computers & Electronics
Product Type: Other
Manufacturer:  EDSA Shangri-La Branch
Let me explain what persuaded me to try this product.

My laptop took a beating when I rode the MRT last Valentines day. That traumatic experience made me wish I never stepped on that train and just waited for the traffic to ease up. Not only did I experience being carried into the train against my will, but I also had to push my way out. My anger turned into remorse when I saw that my laptop turned 2 years older within 30 minutes. Its once smooth and shiny cover was scratched and ruined.

I don't know when I'll be able to walk through those MRT doors again.

-----------

Before that incident, I already heard about GMASK Beauty Wrap and had intentions of having my laptop masked there, I just didn't think it was necessary to do it right away.

Boy was I wrong.

I finally went to Shangri-La and turned my Scarface Laptop over to the lady while Dino and I ate at Wham! which was pretty nearby. When the lady was done, I saw my lappy and all the despair vanished. I can look at my laptop with smilies all over again. I know I cannot erase the scratches but I will be able to prevent new ones,

Just a quick run down of how to go about the GMASK process.

1. Make sure you have money with you. It's a bit pricey but worth it. If your laptop is silver, it just needs one coating. If your laptop is black like mine, it requires two coats to allow the image to pop out.

2. Choose your design. If you want to use your own design, it will set you back another grand i think, plus two weeks of waiting since the material gets shipped from a nearby asian country. They have nice designs to choose from but you have to really look for the one that you won't get tired of.

3. Cleaning and sticking. They wipe and clean and stick the material to your gadget. You can watch their video demonstration on their site.

4. Picking up your gadget.

Wheeee! :)

hi, can you pm me how much is the cost for the gmask?
banannarama wrote on Jun 18, '09
Hi guys,

Im sure their prices have changed by now. They still have their website

http://www.gmask.com.ph/

Hopefully that could give you the information you need. :) When I had mine done, I spent P3,500 for both inside and outside because my laptop was black and needed another layout for the design to pop out (2 layers in total)

May additional charge ba if sarili mong design? balak ko kasi pagmask laptop ko. thanks. :)
banannarama wrote on Sep 11, '10
Yes, and it will take an additional week, unless they are much faster now!

I had that done in 2008, and it's still on my laptop!

naks, almost 2 years na pala. wala namang part ng gmask na parang natatanggal na? ah, tingin mo mga magkano additional charge kung sarili mong design? and color kasi ng laptop ko is red, single or double layer to? thanks. :))

I'm not located in Manila right now so hindi ako updated sa rates :)

May mga konting tanggal but I know they will fix it for free (ung mga dulo, they'll apply their clear adhesive ulit)

It's best if you give them a call to ask. :)
